We are pleased to welcome Ginger Hensley to Conway Locally Grown. She and her husband grow a variety of vegetables and berries just east of Vilonia at Cypress Valley Farm. Please take a look at her grower profile, and also the items she is listing this week: blackberry vinegar, blackberry syrup, baked goods, apple butter & applesauce. They are planning for next year’s garden now, which will include blackberries, cantaloupes, and lots of other veggies.
From Cedar Rock Ridge: This morning I made my last batch of WICLKES for the year using cucumbers from Barnhill Orchards and Yellow Congo peppers and garlic from my own organic garden. You won’t see these again until next July so stock up. Only 6 quarts and 6 pints.
Even though temps are finally cooler, there are lots of super vegetables still available. Enjoy the bounty!
