Opening Bell: Kale, Turnips, Carrots, Broccoli!


Good afternoon!

Just a reminder that our market will be OPEN every Friday in December.

Be sure to arrive early Friday for samples of Pickled Red Onions! There will be 10 containers on the Extras table for only $3.00 each. You’re taste buds are in for a dynamic treat!

Maria will have chicken tortilla soup and Wassail for sale on Friday.

Also, long time CLG volunteer,Kim, has just listed chicken lapel pins and hand-painted calendars. Kim is a very talented graphic designre and these items are some of her work. And check out the DVD: Seed Swap in the Ozarks. This documentary was directed by Kim’s husband, Zach, and produced by Dr. Brian Campbell, formerly of UCA. Search all the listings by Bell Urban Farm.

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!
