Shiitakes! Opening Bells: Peppers, Potatoes, Squash, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Honey!

Good afternoon!
It is officially summer, and that means lots of great tasting, nutritious food is being grown for you right here in Faulkner County. Try using fresh garlic for amazing garlic bread to go with your favorite lasagna or spaghetti recipe. Do you want your kids to eat squash? Text me for the tastiest tempura batter recipe for fried squash. Great on broccoli, shiitakes, zucchini, peppers, and eggplant also.

Thanks to Carissa, Ashley, Sandra, and Izzy for organizing the market on Friday while I was visiting my parents in Illinois. By 6pm Friday, Mom and I had made 6 quarts of Wickles using Dad’s cucumbers. I’m back at Cedar Rock Ridge now and ready for a fantastic week!
