Opening Bell: Chicken, Peppers, Breads, Honey!

Good afternoon!

Drewry Farm and Orchard brought some beautiful Gala apples to market on Friday. Kenny will be picking more this week, so put a bag of apples in your shopping cart and enjoy! Unfortunately, peach harvest may be ending. Things looked very promising early on, but an invasive insect, plum corculio, has caused extensive peach losses. I know Kenny and his team put in a lot of work in the orchards year-round, so our heartfelt thanks go out to them.

At this time of year, many of our vegetable growers have little produce being harvested as we wait for the fall crops to begin maturing. We will soon have a good variety of late summer vegetables: potatoes, cucumbers, cantaloupe, okra, fall squash, tomatoes…

Be sure to SEARCH for your favorite items using the search field. We have over 625 items available now!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)

The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping:
