So many wonderfully delicious products listed this week! Plan on having one or two local items every dinner this week. And apples to snack on!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

This is a pickup reminder for those of you who ordered this week. Thank you for your order! You can pick up your order from 3:45 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. today at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway.

Usually our volunteers have the market ready for customers to pick up before 4pm. If you are out and about and want to know if we are ready, just text me to see: 501-339-1039.

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick up for you.

Remember to bring your EGGSHELLS, glass jars for recycling, egg cartons, and bags for ordered items. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon.

Pumpkins and Gourds for Decorating!


Good morning!
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to get some great fall decorating items for your home or office. Strack Farm will have a trailer full of Mini-Gourds (60 cents) and Pumpkins ($4-$7) at market this Friday! And Drewry Orchard will have a Gourd display on the Extras table of what they will be listing next week. Lots of great items listed now, so make an order and we’ll see you Friday!

By the time you read this, cooler weather should be moving into our area, making for a very pleasant week. Several folks had asked me if I could turn down the heat just a bit, so I hope you enjoy these fall temps.

If you ever have trouble logging in, or ordering, or anything related to your account or the website, please email, text, or call me. I will be happy to assist you. My cell is 501-339-1039.

Every week we have 3 or 4 volunteers helping to get your orders inventoried and distributed. They work from 2-6pm on Fridays, and earn a $20 credit to their CLG account. I think you will agree with me that these people are a critical part of our operation. If you would like to be on our volunteer list, just text or email me. I am making the October schedule this week.

Opening Bell: Potatoes, Squash, Apples, Kale!


Good afternoon!
Here’s something you won’t find at any other market in the state: MEALWORMS! You may be asking yourself, “Why would anyone want mealworms?” Although it has been over 40 years ago, I still remember my first mealworm operation. It gave me valuable experience in animal husbandry: a young boy caring for living creatures, checking on them daily, feeding them, watching their life cycle, and fishing with them! If you have young kids, grand-kids, chickens, or a husband, you should order a starter set now! Feed them to birds during the winter too! I have had my current colony for over 10 years. Never buy fishing bait again! They are clean and dry, and can be kept in the garage. I have mine in a 3-tier Rubbermaid chest on wheels. They live in chicken feed, and the only moisture they need is an occasional banana peel, peach pit, apple peelings, or piece of bread. The beetles lay eggs on potato peelings. Text me if you have any questions (501-339-1039).I could go on and on, and it looks like I have, but these guys are so interesting. Great for kids age 3 and up. They like to be held and will crawl on your hand, and never bite you. If you accidentally eat one, it’s OK. They’re high in protein and don’t have any bones! Get your starter set today!

Oh, and we also have lots of vegetables, meat, eggs, and canned goods available. :-)
