Dry, dry, dry! Despite the lack of rain, our Growers are still producing some excellent food. Purple hull peas are being harvested around the area. And Bar C Farm is having a sale on Fresh Sides Bacon and Ground Pork. Time to fill your freezer!

Rockwood Crafts has just listed several new items. Lots of smell-good stuff. I wash my hands with the Butt Naked Exfoliating Sea Salt Scrub after I clean fish. Quickly removes any fishy smells.

Strack farm will have Zucchini and yellow squash on the extra table today! Cedar rock Ridge will have lots of fall decorating the corn as well. Come early for the best selection!

Maria will have delicious BBQ pulled pork at the market today, along with all of her other goodies.

This is a pickup reminder for those of you who ordered this week. Thank you for your order! You can pick up your order from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. today at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway.

Usually our awesome volunteers have the market ready for customers to pick up before 4pm. If you are out and about and want to know if we are ready, just text me to see: 501-339-1039.

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick up for you.

Remember to bring your EGGSHELLS, glass jars for recycling, egg cartons, and bags for ordered items. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon.

We are very excited to announce our new Grower: Julie’s Sweet Shoppe! Julie and her bakery staff work very hard to consistently produce top quality sweets at competitive prices, all conveniently delivered to market every Friday. This addition will expand our Baked Goods section with items previously not offered. Great for all types of parties and get togethers. Thank them for joining us by ordering some treats now. :-)

Schools are back in session and temps are cooling just a bit. This is a transition time for many gardeners and farmers. Summer crops are waning but still producing, and fall crops are planted but not ready to harvest yet. If you want to see several of our local Growers, Sandra has organized a Farm Tour for Sunday, September 10th from noon until 4pm. There are a few seats still available. Kids are welcome!
