Opening Bell: Pecans, Eggs, Honey, Pork, Chicken!

Hello friends!

Welcome to 2022!

We’ve got a bumper crop of delicious pecan halves for all your baking or snacking needs. They’re frozen so you can keep them frozen until you need them. One pound will make 3 of your delicious pecan pies! Get them while you can.

It was 70° yesterday, but struggling to make it to 30° today. The birds sure noticed the difference and are hanging around our suet feeder. I’ve seen Cardinals, nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, tufted titmice, black capped chickadees, and I think I saw a penguin. We will have about 20 suet cakes on the extra table this Friday for only $1 each. Ours last about a week. Stock up for all winter.

It’s still time to put some elephant garlic plants in the ground for harvest next June. All you need is a small site that gets about 6 hours of daylight. You CAN grow elephant garlic. Try it! Limited quantity available. Try Egyptian walking onions too! Nice well-rooted plants ready to be transplanted into your garden or flower bed.

Please wear a mask when you pick up your ordered items. Thank you. We will also continue contactless delivery to your vehicle on Fridays for those interested, just call or text 501-339-1039.

Bar C is having a special on pork: 5 packages of various items for only $25. Back the truck up!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)

The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping: *https://conway.locallygrown.net/market
