You could be making pickles this week! Pickling cucumbers and garlic are now available! If you would like some fresh dill, text me and I will bring you a bunch on Friday. Saturday morning you will be making pickles! Take a look all the vegetables listed by using the “vegetables” tab on the left side of the market page.

Bradford Valley Farm has whole chicken, chicken tenders, drumsticks, and … PORK: bacon, chops, ham, ground, and roasts. Time to plan something grilled for dinner one night soon. Great food, produced locally!

Garlic! Opening Bell: Honey, Lettuce, Potatoes, Chicken!

Got vampires? Recent studies have shown that 99% of vampire issues can be resolved simply by having garlic in your kitchen. Now is the time to stock up. We are digging some beautiful organic garlic right now at Cedar Rock Ridge. This garlic will keep around 8 months in a cool, dark place.

Chicken! Opening Bell: Spinach, Honey, Lettuce, Pork!

Good afternoon!
Look at all the chicken items available now! Bradford Valley chicken is awesome, and free of any chemicals or antibiotics or steroids. Just pasture raised natural goodness. I’ll share my recipe for delicious grilled chicken wings or drumsticks. Thaw meat overnight in the fridge, then marinate all day in a marinade of 2 tablespoons Cedar Rock Ridge BBQ sauce, 2 teaspoons Beaverfork Blend, and 1/4 cup pickle juice. Try it. You’ll thank me! Also great for pork chops.

Microgreens are now available from Bell Urban Farm, and White River Creamery has goat cheeses listed!

Cheese, Microgreens, Lettuce, Radishes, Onions!

Good afternoon!
A note about shiitake mushrooms. Our shiitake mushrooms are grown on oak logs at Sweden Creek Farm in Kingston, Arkansas. They have had an unusually wet and cold couple of months and they anticipate fewer shiitakes will be available this month.

Microgreens are now available from Bell Urban Farm, and Tammy Sue is back with a huge selection of goat milk soaps and other items. They are very mild and smell amazing!

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th. Look around the market and you might find some nice gifts, such as jam, jelly, soap, plants, honey. At market pick up this coming Friday, Maria will be on hand with a wide selection of products, including chocolate covered cherries and chocolate covered strawberries.

This is barbecue weather! Plan to grill for dinner one day this week by getting some delicious local meat. Lots of great bratwurst, chops, and beef available now.
