Opening Bell: Squash, Tomatoes, Cabbage & Berries!
Good afternoon,
So many wonderful veggies, and it gets better every week! Our Growers are doing some incredible work and it’s paying off with early tomatoes, herbs, potatoes, corn, and of course, squash out the ears!
One our our long-time Growers, Arkansas Natural Produce, will not be available until further notice. Luckily, several of our Growers have adjusted and expanded their garden plans to provide a wider variety of produce. Look around all the categories and you should be able to fill your shopping cart with plenty of goodness!
Come early on Friday for the best selection from the EXTRAS table.
The market is now OPEN for orders. Please check your email about 5 minutes after you place your order to make sure you get an order confirmation. Thank you for being a valuable part of CLG!

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick up for you.
Remember to bring your glass jars for recycling, egg cartons, and bags for ordered items. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon.

Opening Bell: Summer Squash, Corn, Bulk Cucumbers & Blackberries!

Now is a great time to take advantage of the super prices on summer squash and freeze them for use fall and winter. Just slice, blanch, and freeze in Ziploc bags and you can have delicious squash casserole anytime you want! I’ve also seen recipes for zucchini dill pickles. Might be worth a try.

So many great products listed this week: Hardin Farms has several varieties of summer squash, and also the season’s first green beans! Bluebird Hill Berry Farm has BLUEBERRIES! #delicious! The weather forecast has lots of sun this week so check back on Tuesday evening before the market closes at 10pm to see if more products have been added. No problem to make a second order.
