This is the LAST market before X-Mas. There will be NO market on December 23rd. Be sure to stock up for all your holiday needs!

Check out our newest grower Happy Horseshoe Farm! They have Collard Greens, new red potatoes, Poc Choi, and beef! Please welcome them with a big order :)

This will be the LAST week of the year that you can order from Maria’s Home Made Country Fare, so be sure to stock up! Mini jams and jellies make for great gifts. She also has WASSAIL, spinach dip and frozen chicken tortilla soup. Better be looking at it than looking for it!

We will be back open for December 30th.

This is a pickup reminder for those of you who ordered this week. We have been having a great EXTRAS table, so stop by even if you don’t have an order :)

You can pick up your order starting at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway.

Please NOTE: the church parking lot may be full between 315p and 345p when the Junior High lets out and kids are getting picked up.

Please remember that although the doors are open before 3pm, we are still getting everything ready for the market. If you arrive before 3pm, you are welcome to come in and sit while you wait. In order to avoid mistakes, we will not check anyone out before 3pm. Thank you for understanding.

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick it up for you.

Remember to bring your milk bottles if you ordered milk with exchange, and your reusable market bags. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon!

Thank You Note, Market CLOSED this week

Hi everyone

Happy Thanksgiving. The market will be CLOSED this week. If you are running low on local goodies, be sure to hit up the Farmstand at Bell Urban Farm.

I wanted to take a second to thank everybody who makes CLG possible.

I am very thankful for our wonderful community, for all of you who care about where your food comes from, and help support small local farmers. Thanks to all the growers who work so hard to make delicious, healthy, more sustainable food and products available to all of us. A special thank you also goes to all the volunteers who help CLG run smoothly week after week—we couldn’t do it without you!

This was an especially challenging year for many farmers, and you may have noticed the impact it had on the market. Many products that are usually abundant were missing this year. Thank you to all of you who stuck with us during the lean times.

I am working on getting more farmers to join the market so we can have a more rounded offering, but it is very important that we keep supporting local food and spreading the word about the market. So please don’t forget to tell your friends, family, and co-workers about CLG!

Also, thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey. The feedback is very helpful.

And lastly, I want to thank our beloved friends Steve and Carissa Lunk, and take a moment to appreciate all the hard work they put into the market—CLG wouldn’t be here without them. I am grateful and honored to be able to continue cultivating the love they spread in our community.
