LouJane at Rockwood Crafts has been sewing hundreds of masks to keep your loved ones safe during this global health crisis. Search “mask”. They are cloth with elastic and wonderful fabric designs. It looks like we will need to wear masks throughout the summer. Only $5 each. Keep a couple in your cars so you are never without one.

Our market will continue to meet in the lobby every Friday. Our volunteers will be wearing masks. Your order can be brought to your car in the parking lot by one of our dedicated volunteers. Just text me when you are parked, and we will bring your order to your vehicle. 501-339-1039.

Be sure to SEARCH for your favorite items using the search field. For instance, type in the word “sale” or “pork” and see what pops up. We have almost 500 items available now!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)

We will have a sign in sheet at the entrance when you come to pick up your order. This would be used for contact tracing if that becomes necessary. Coronavirus is still out there so we are being extra cautious for everyone’s health and safety.

We have 12 pints of spicy dill pickles (Wickles) AND 12 pints of Steve’s amazing bread & butter pickles on the extras table today. They’ll go fast!

Pick up will continue to be in the lobby until further notice. Please wear a mask and keep 6 feet distance. You can enter the lobby from the courtyard or the south parking area. We have volunteers who can bring your order to your car if you prefer, just call or text 501-339-1039. Tell me your name, where you are parked and what kind of car you are in. Open your trunk for contactless delivery.

If you ordered plants, please bring a box to carry them home in.

Good afternoon!
We have more holy basil plants potted and ready for your garden or patio. The scent of holy basil is very relaxing and sets the tone for an enjoyable experience outdoors.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, okra, potatoes, salad mix… Check out the vegetables tab on the left side and to see all of the nutritious options this week.

More chicken has been listed from Shaky K Farm, and try some of the pork products from Bradford Valley Farm. As the pandemic continues, we are thankful that so much local food is being produced right here. We are not sure with the short term future holds, but we plan on continuing our market in a safe manner each Friday.

Opening Bell: Wickles, Squash, Jam, Honey!

Good afternoon!
Wickles will be available in the extra table refrigerator this Friday at pick up. Several folks have been asking when I would make some more, so Friday after market I picked up some freshly picked cucumbers from Strack Farm on Lower Ridge Road and made 14 pints on Saturday morning. Come early before they’re all gone. They’ll be the star of your next grill-out. Eat them all up and bring the jars back please :-).

It looks like Sweden Creek will not be having any shiitake mushrooms for the foreseeable future. I am looking for another local shiitake producer but it may take time. In the meantime, try some of the other varieties listed by Wye Mountain mushroom farm. I’ve heard the lions mane and oyster mushrooms are excellent!
