Shamrock and Thistle Farm is a 3 and a half acre small-holding located at the intersection of State Hwy 216 and Camp Acres road in the Antioch community 7 miles from Houston AR. The farm endeavors to raise happy animals and organically grown produce in as sustainable manner as possible. S&T does not use any pesticides or artificial fertilizers and very few fossil fuels are used in the production of our produce. The farm has become a polyculture wherein all fertilizers and pest control methods are produced right on the property. Happy animals providing the fertilizer and a healthy bioculture of beneficial plants and insects help control the pest population. Our produce is beautiful, healthy, and all natural. The star, however, of our stable of products is Ms. Patt’s hand made breads and scones.
She is known as “The Bread Lady” around Perry County and is a regular at the Perry County Farmer’s Market.

Conway Locally Grown, in partnership with Faulkner County Supporters for Sustainable Communities, is a member of a consortium dedicated to bringing clean, safe, delicious food to Central Arkansas. Other members of the consortium include The Arkansas Sustainability Network and The Slow Food Arkansas Heartland Group. In addition to the Conway site, there will be online markets sprouting in Little Rock and Hot Springs this Spring.
