Potluck at Rattle’s Garden
We’re having a party y’all! Falling Sky Farm and Rattle’s Garden are partnering up to host a potluck for our Conway Locally Grown and Little Rock Locally Grown customers on Saturday, May 12 at 5:00. We’ll provide a little bit of live music, tea and Falling Sky Farm fixings while hanging out at Rattle’s Garden in Vilonia. You bring your favorite side, your family and your lawn chairs and we’ll have a great time. We’re asking for a $5 donation per adult to help cover our expenses (no charge for kids). We have 60 spots available so RSVP soon at Conway Locally Grown or Little Rock Locally Grown.

Alternative Monday Pickup
We are now offering an alternative Monday evening pickup at La Lucha Space for those of you who can’t pickup on Fridays. La Lucha Space is located at 2035 Prince Street, the white house located on the South East corner of Prince and Donaghey. This alternative pick up will run from 5-7 P.M. on Mondays. If you are planning on selecting the La Lucha pick up, please use caution when selecting items that will not perish over the weekend. If you have a question of wether a product will perish over the weekend, please email the grower to find out.

Toulouse and Lamb Sausage and Spring Potluck at Rattle's Garden

Lamb and Toulouse Sausages from H.A.M.
Fresh Merguez Sausage- This spicy lamb sausage has North African roots. The bright red color comes from the Spanish paprika and raosted red peppers. Other ingredients include: garlic, crushed chili flakes, oregano, and red wine. Great served with Israeli couscous and a mixture of sauteed veggies.
Fresh Toulouse Sausage- A French-style sausage made with pork from Farm Girl. It is flavored with white wine, copious amounts of garlic and seasonings. Toulouse sausage is usually braised or fried and is an essential ingredient in Cassoulet.

A Note from Rattles Garden
Just like this time last year, we’re in a bind for fridge space! We have LOTS of broccoli coming in out of the field and no where to put it! We’re offering our (no chemical) broccoli at a discounted price of 2 lbs for $10 if you can meet me in the church parking lot between 5:00 and 5:30 on Tuesday afternoon. Place an order by emailing Tara at rattlesgarden@yahoo.com. If interested in bulk broccoli for you to put in the freezer, drop me a line.

It has been the best strawberry season in the history of Conway Locally Grown! I’ve never had so many amazing strawberries. I encourage you to indulge while it lasts, the season is short.
A Note from Rattles Garden
Try some Napa Cabbage, y’all! It’s a new vegetable for us, make it a new vegetable for you! Slightly higher in protein than other cabbages with a milder taste than cabbage or boc choi but can be used in many of the same ways. Check our website for a few links to new recipes – Thanks y’all!
