Dear Conway Locally Grown Family,
Just last Tuesday we had one of the earliest hard freezes in recent memory, and today we could hit a record high of 81 degrees set in 1921. Despite these crazy temperature swings, or growers continue to do the work of supplying first-class food to our dinner plates. As you plan for your Thanksgiving meal, don’t forget to order some local produce for your guests to take home with them. Maybe a butternut squash, or a pint of BBQ sauce or salsa, or even a pound of ground beef. They’ll thank you for it.
