Opening Bell: Summer & Winter Squash, Apples, Green Tomatoes...

Good afternoon,
It’s amazing that we still have growers producing summer squash at the end of October! Great job! And I saw some nice turnips and beets on the EXTRAS table on Friday. Start making your Thanksgiving menu now and stock up. Only 3 markets in November. Coming soon: ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION. More info to come.

From Cedar Rock Ridge: With winter approaching, it’s time to think about next year’s garden. If you plan to have tomatoes, peppers, or anything that requires pollinators, then you’ll want to have Korean Hyssop in your garden. It’s a perennial that grows 3-4 feet tall and produces dozens of blue/purple flower spikes which draws hundreds of bees everyday during summer. I’ve only got 20 left at $2.25 each. Comes back every spring!

Check out all the Featured Products and use the SEARCH field on the main Market page to quickly find the items you want.

Come early on Friday for the best selection from the EXTRAS table.

The market is now +OPEN +for orders. Please check your email about 5 minutes after you place your order to make sure you get an order confirmation. Thank you for being a valuable part of CLG!

Have a great week!
Steve
