Happy, Healthy, Hand-Scrubbed EggsGrower: Turtle Rock Farms
Price: $3.25 ( 1 dozen )Available (Exact): 0
Our delicious large brown eggs come from happy, healthy, chickens that call 14 acres of Petit Jean Mountain their home. Why are they so happy and healthy? Because they are allowed to live like chickens should. Our children raised these chickens from day-old pullets, so they are very sweet and friendly. They are free to range, peck, scratch and dust-bathe in their large protected yard. At night they are housed in a spacious earth-friendly coop made almost entirely of reclaimed materials. Each morning and evening my eight-year-old daughter gathers the eggs, always being sure to gently remove the mother bird from the nest box before taking her egg. While most of our eggs are pristine upon arrival, those that need cleaned are then hand-scrubbed, not washed, in order to maintain the thin protective membrane naturally present. After years of factory-produced eggs, we can testify to the superior quality, taste, and safety of our farm fresh eggs. As a family with six children who enjoy eating these eggs nearly everyday, we are the best customer we have! So join our family in experiencing how much better eggs can be and support our children's "egg-money" fund.
